Is Enshrouded Crossplay? – Answered

Enshrouded has expanded significantly with its 1.0 update, adding a new endgame biome, weapons, quests, and a complete story. But if you’re planning to explore Embervale with friends on different platforms, there’s one important question: does Enshrouded support crossplay?

Does Enshrouded Support Cross-platform Multiplayer?

Enshrouded does not support crossplay at launch. However, Keen Games is actively working on bringing cross-platform multiplayer to the game. There is currently no estimated release date for the feature, so we’ll have to wait for an official announcement.

While the game lacks crossplay, it does have a feature called Adventure Sharing. This lets players upload their worlds for other players to visit across supported platforms. However, it’s not a substitute for crossplay, as you can’t use it to join a friend for live co-op.

Is Enshrouded On Consoles?

Enshrouded is available on PC and PS5, but not Xbox Series X|S. The game launched on PC and PS5 on October 15, 2026, while the Xbox Series X|S version is planned for spring 2027.

Will Enshrouded Be on Last-Gen Consoles (PlayStation 4 and Xbox One)?

Unfortunately, Enshrouded is not confirmed for PS4 and Xbox One. There has been no official word on it at all, so it’s likely it won’t happen at all.

Does Enshrouded Have Cross-Progression?

There has been no word on crossplay; the same goes for cross-progression. It would be reasonable to assume that if we get crossplay, we will also get cross-progression. We will update this article after an official announcement goes live.

Here’s how to host a dedicated server in Enshrouded if you want to hang out with your friends on your own private server.
