While you may not get the opportunity to play as Agent Venom, he does make a brief appearance in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. After discovering that they both have Super Powers, a partnership between Harry and Peter quickly forms. While they may already be in talks to open a new foundation together in memory of their Mother and Aunt, respectively, the addition of these powers can help them heal the world.
During a pivotal point in the story, Harry and Peter team up to work their way through a warehouse, with Harry donning the iconic Agent Venom outfit. Sorry, Flash Thompson isn’t here to save the day; it’s just Harry trying out his newly discovered Symbiote powers before becoming the beast we truly know as Venom.
During this fight, players will still be in control of Peter in their suit of choice, while computer-controlled Harry in the Agent Venom suit tackles foes of his own. As a first display of his true brute force, it’s terrifying to think what you may face off against if Venom finally snaps and unleashes his true powers against you.
While it’s a shame that we cannot unlock this particular suit for Peter or Miles, it’s a great peak at what could be if we get our hands on some sort of Venom-themed DLC or Spin-off in the future. Getting a bit of an origin story for this iconic villain could be an excellent bit of lore for those willing to dig deep before jumping in.
