What is Inscryption?

According to the description on the Special Reserve Games website, “Inscryption is an inky black card-based odyssey that blends the deckbuilding roguelike, escape-room style puzzles, and psychological horror into a blood-laced smoothie. Darker still are the secrets inscrybed upon the cards…”

If somehow that summary doesn’t intrigue you, then perhaps the fact that the game has been nominated for a multitude of awards (including “Best Independent Game” and “Best Sim/Strategy Game” at The Game Awards in 2021) might entice you to give Inscryption a try.
