How to Use Incantations in Elden Ring

Elden Ring is filled with different magic spells players can use to decimate their opponents. Between sorceries and Incantations, players will have so many magical tools in their arsenal. You’ll need to know some stuff ahead of time before using Incantations though, especially if you want to make the most of it.

Incantations are based on your Faith stat. If you’re looking to use these powerful fire spells and more in Elden Ring you will want to get the most out of them, or even use many of them.

In order to actually cast Incantations, you’ll need a seal weapon. Classes like the Confessor will start with the Finger Seal, which is used like any other weapon in the game.

Seals can be found all over the Lands Between just like any sword, shield, or staff. If you didn’t start with a class that has one, you can easily get one from the Bestial Sanctum by giving Deathroot to the Beast Clergymen. This can be done pretty early on in the game.

Equip the seal in either your left or right hand in the Equipment menu, as well as putting the Incantations you want to use in your Memory Slots.

To do this simply rest at any Site of Grace and select the Memory Slots options to redo whatever Incantations you would like to use.

As far as getting more Incantations, talk to the NPC on the left side of the Roundtable Hold who will offer some early game Incantations, and can offer more if you find Prayerbooks scattered around the world.
