How to Watch the Ubisoft Forward Livestream – Date, Time, What to Expect

The Ubisoft Forward livestream event will reveal new details on Hyper Scape, AC Valhalla, Far Cry 6, and much more. Here's how to watch.

With every major in-person gaming event of the year cancelled due to COVID-19, developers and publishers are being forced to shift their yearly announcements to a livestream event. As with most other publishers, a Ubisoft Forward event has been announced and will showcase the latest news, content, and gameplay for some of the developer’s upcoming games. In this guide, we are going to explain how to watch the Ubisoft Forward livestream, as well as what time to tune in and what kind of announcements to expect.

Ubisoft Forward Livestream – Date, Time, and How to Watch

The Ubisoft Forward livestream event will be held on Sunday, July 12 at 12 PM PT/3 PM ET/9 PM CEST. The event can be watched live on the official Ubisoft YouTube or Twitch channel, as well as in the video below. We don’t know how long the event will be at the time of writing, but I expect it will last somewhere between 30 minutes to an hour.

Ubisoft has confirmed that it will be sharing details about games like Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, Watch Dogs: Legion, and Hyper Scape during the Forward livestream. Of course, developers are also teasing a few surprises for the stream as well. As a result of a recent leak via the PlayStation Store, it looks like one of those surprises might show off some of Far Cry 6, which hasn’t technically been announced yet.

However, it seems that the accidental leak was reliable because the official Far Cry Twitter account is now teasing the reveal of the new game at the Ubisoft Forward. At the time of writing, not much is known about the game, except that it seems Breaking Bad’s Giancarlo Esposito will be playing a major role in the game.

As far as what else to expect from the Ubisoft Forward, it looks like we will have to wait and see. When you get online for the stream, be sure to log in with your Uplay account to claim a free copy of Watch Dogs 2. While you don’t have to watch the stream through your Uplay account, you will need to sign on at some time during the event if you want to claim your free copy of the game. Even if you don’t watch the event, you can still get the game for signing in.
