There is a treasure trove of exciting monsters that players can discover and fight against in Monster Hunter World: Iceborne. One of these vile creatures is known as Yian Garuga and is one beast you will not want to miss out on fighting. Fortunately, we have everything you need to know to unlock Yian Garuga in the game’s Iceborne expansion covered for you.
How to Unlock Yian Garuga in Monster Hunter World: Iceborne
Players who would like to unlock and battle against Yian Garuga will need to beat the main story campaign of Monster Hunter World: Iceborne.
You will then be tasked with chasing down the beast known as Ruiner Nergigante. This particular chase will then introduce you to the Guiding Lands area of the title. Your next task will then be to level up the Forest Region of the Guiding Lands to level 3. Once you hit level 3, the quest called Return of the Crazy One will then be available for you to take on. The Return of the Crazy One quest will be when you unlock Yian Garuga and get your first chance of fighting the enormous beast.
You can increase a Guiding Lands region level by picking up tracks, parts, breaking parts of a creature native to a particular region, capturing or slaying monsters in the area or that are native to the region, and trapping monsters.
There is no Master Rank level cap requirement for Yian Garuga, which means players will be able to embark on their quest to unlock the creature as soon as they unlock the Guiding Lands area.
