How to Unlock the Panda Plateau Secret Level in Minecraft Dungeons

The Minecraft Dungeons: Jungle Awakens DLC has officially dropped and offers players three new levels to explore. As with the base game, there are a couple of secret levels that players can uncover by venturing off the beaten path and finding a hidden scroll. So, in this guide, we are going to show you how to unlock the Panda Plateau secret level in Minecraft Dungeons: Jungle Awakens.

Minecraft Dungeons Panda Plateau Secret Level Location

The Minecraft Dungeons Panda Plateau secret level can be found in the Dingy Jungle area of the Jungle Awakens DLC. As with the base game, to unlock the hidden area, you’ll need to track down a mysterious scroll, which happens to be guarded by three panda statues this time around. To get to get to this area, you’ll need to track down a hidden doorway that is located off the main path. It’s hard to describe exactly where it is, but if you’re looking for it, it’ll be pretty obvious to spot. 

Head through the doorway and you’ll find an area that’s filled with lava with a bunch of white bone-like structures sticking out of the ground. When you enter this section, be careful because you’ll trigger an enemy ambush. Survive the ambush and eventually, you’ll come across three panda statues that have glowing buttons in front of them. Push all three buttons and you’ll reveal a hidden path that will take you directly to the scroll needed to unlock the Minecraft Dungeons Panda Plateau secret level.

If you’ve already played through the main game, you may have heard of the secret cow level, which is considered the hardest hidden level to unlock. Essentially, it involves collecting nine different runes throughout different areas of the game. Upon collecting the nine runes, players can visit a special church location to unlock the hidden area. It should be interesting to see if developers try to top this hidden level in the upcoming DLCs, or if this will be as hard as it gets, time will tell. 

In case you aren’t aware, the Jungle Awakens DLC is the first of two planned expansions for Minecraft Dungeons, with the Creeping Winter expansion set to release later this year. If you already own the Hero Pass, you’ll be able to play the DLCs for free, but if not you’ll need to purchase the Pass for $10. Further, if you’re playing via Xbox Game Pass, you’ll have to purchase the Pass to play the expansions.
