How to Unlock New Clothes

Unlocking new clothes in Ring of Elysium is a fairly simple task, though the first thing you’ll need to do is start saving up your Credits. Credits are the in-game currency that players are rewarded each time they complete a match, and you can earn more credits based on your overall performance in each match that you compete in. Surviving longer, taking out more enemies, and even traveling further across the map are all great ways to make more Credits in each match, so make sure you’re doing what you can along the way.

Once you’ve acquired some credits, head over to the Reward Tab at the menu. Here you can purchase various crates—up to 8—that will allow you to unlock new equipment and clothing items.

The first crate that you can purchase is only 500 Credits, however, each subsequent crate will cost you more Credits to unlock.

Once you have purchased a crate, the crate will then be transferred to your Vault, which you can access via the Vault tab on the menu at the top of your screen.

Head over to the vault and right-click the crate to open it up. You should see the screen with your reward afterwards.

Now, there are a few things to note about clothes in Ring of Elysium. Unlike other battle royale games, Ring of Elysium includes a few different types of clothes that you can unlock. There are permanent unlocks, which will be unlocked for your account permanently, and then there are three other types of unlocks available. The other three unlocks available include a 3-day unlock, 7-day unlock, and a 30 day unlock. When acquired these timed unlocks will only be available for that certain amount of time.

Once you have unlocked a clothing item, head to the Appearance tab to set it up and choose what you want to wear. Unfortunately, there isn’t really any way to change your actual character appearance as far as we can tell, so you’ll be stuck with whatever hair and face you decided to set up at the beginning, when you first logged into the game. If you haven’t already downloaded the game and tried it, make sure you check out our guide on how to download and install Ring of Elysium to find out how to get in on the action and be the last person standing.
