How to Use Tri-Stringer in Splatoon 3

The Tri-Stringer is an all-new weapon in Splatoon 3. It looks like your average bow and arrow, but this weapon packs a punch. The Tri-Stringer can fire three arrows at once, which will coat a small area around each dart with ink. It has a wide horizontal attack, meaning it doesn’t hit hard, but requires slightly less precision than other weapons.

You can hold the shoot button to charge up your attack. This will lessen the spread of your projectiles, increase the damage done, and the arrows will then explode for even more ink coverage.

You can also jump while shooting to turn your horizontal attacks into vertical ones. This will allow you to get a new angle on an opponent or spray ink in a vertical line. You just have to jump with the B button and shoot with the RZ button simultaneously to perform this feat.

You can always practice your shots in the shooting range located in the main tower. You’ll be able to test out and practice with the Tri-Stringer and other unlocked weapons.
