The Mixing Station is one of the most useful features in Schedule 1. You get to create and discover your “products” and distribute them to keep the business flourishing. Here’s how to use the Mixing Station once you unlock it in Schedule 1.
How to Mix Products Using the Mixing Station in Schedule 1

When you focus on the main quest or mission, you’ll eventually reach the objective where you need a Mixing Station from the hardware store. In my experience, I unlocked the Mixing Station way before I reached the main quest or mission involved, which was confusing because there was no need for it yet.
To use the Mixing Station, you need a product and a mixing ingredient. A mixing ingredient could be anything, but obviously, don’t put trash in there. Go to the department store and buy some random ingredients like Cuke, Banana, or Paracetamol.
To filter for “mixing ingredients,” choose the “Ingredients” tab when buying from the convenience store. After you buy the mixing ingredients, go to your Mixing Station and place any kind of product and a mixing ingredient. It should show the final product before you mix them. If you haven’t unlocked the product yet, it’ll appear as “???” until you mix one and find out the result.
I highly suggest placing a large storage rack near your Mixing Station to easily store products you plan on mixing. If you put them inside a Baggie immediately, you’ll have to wait until your new batch grows before you can conjure strains. We have curated a list of all the mixing station recipes for all the products in Schedule 1 if you want to look for the best ones.
It is also worth noting that convenience stores are open 24/7, so you can always buy mixing ingredients when you need them.

Apart from expanding your product line, you’ll also get product types that give “tropic thunder” or “anti-gravity” to the consumer. These are effects that specific customers crave, and you want to unlock all the recipes to create very specific strains for customers to improve your relationship with them quickly, especially dealers.
Some pay an extra premium, but you are mostly in it for their satisfaction and to increase your relationship with them. Some potential dealers may ask for complicated strains, and you’ll want to satisfy them so you can hire them to deal for you.
However, the lazy way is to keep giving them your “best” product without thinking about their desired effects. Even if it doesn’t have the effect they crave, as long as your product has good effects, there will be at least a 50% to 70%+ chance of satisfying the customer. If they don’t like the free sample, you can try again the next day. a
Aside from satisfying other customers, some strains have a “better” market value than others, which should make you more money if you produce them in huge quantities.
However, if you offer too many types of products early, you’ll struggle to satisfy every customer since they’ll order a lot of random products. It is best to focus on selling two to three products max until your business is thriving — maybe after expanding away from the Chinese restaurant.

How to Automate Your Products in the Mixing Station in Schedule 1

First, you want to memorize and set up the mixing ingredients for a specific product. For example, the product above requires Chili, Flu Medicine, Viagra, and Cuke in that exact order.
You’ll want to place some large storage racks with those ingredients near the mixing stations. Once you have that set up, hire a chemist and a handler. The chemist uses the mixing station and can also set the output of the final product to another large storage rack. The handler puts the mixing ingredients inside your mixing stations because those chemists apparently can’t handle those.

Manage the handler and assign routes from your large storage rack to a Mixing Station. Adjust the order of your mixing ingredients in the mixing station to get your specific or preferred product.
My strategy is to have an exclusive large storage rack and mixing station for each mixing ingredient. If you have eight different mixes for your final product, you’ll have eight storage racks filled with each ingredient and eight mixing stations. I’d hire two handlers in this scenario, four racks and mixing stations each. Don’t mind the assigned stations section on the clipboard for the handlers, as those are for packaging.
If we use the Chili, Flu Medicine, Viagra, and Cuke OG Kush recipe, the storage rack setup should have the following:
- First Storage Rack – Chili and OG Kush.
- Second Storage Rack – Flu Medicine and (Chili + OG Kush output).
- Third Storage Rack – Viagra and previous output.
- Fourth Storage Rack – Cuke and previous output.

Increase the threshold to the max so you maximize all the ingredients. For the destination of the last mixing station, you’ll want another large storage rack, which should contain all your final products. Package them whenever and however you want.
This setup is how I automated my production setup from the Barn to the Warehouse.
