How to Use Scavenger Tools in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga

In order to use Scavenger Tools, you’ll need to start playing Episode VII: The Force Awakens. A few missions into this episode you’ll come across a main mission titled “Scrap for Scraps” which will introduce Rey and the player to the Scavenger Tools mechanic. After collecting a bit of scrap the game will teach you about the net launcher, the first tool in the scavenger’s arsenal.

In order to use it, you’ll just have to hold B/O to open the crafting menu, and then select the tool you want to craft. It’s really that simple and you’ll be unlocking all sorts of tools over the course of this mission.

Make sure to do Episode VII early in the game so you unlock this category of characters’ full moveset to help nab those collectibles in Free Play. You’ll have a need for Scavenger Tools throughout every Episode in the game.
