To this day, the Wingardium Leviosa spell is remembered by the way Hermione corrects Ron in Harry Potter. Of the 31 spells that can be unlocked in Hogwarts Legacy, plenty of fans will want to pick this up simply for nostalgia and hearing the spell within the game.
Along with being one of the most memorable spells from the movies, Wingardium Leviosa also happens to be incredibly useful for fights or traversing the world of Hogwarts Legacy. When things are too heavy, we have this spell to do the trick. In this guide, we’ll outline all that you need to know about the spell.
Hogwarts Legacy – How to Unlock Wingardium Leviosa
Plenty of spells in this game are locked behind story progress, so you’ll gain access to them as you play through the main missions. Wingardium Leviosa happens to be one of those spells, but you won’t be able to get it as early as many others. The spell is tied to a quest called “Professor Garlick’s Assignment 1” which is main quest 31 within the story.
You’ll know you’ve reached the right mark in the story to unlock Wingardium Leviosa once you complete the “In the Shadows of the Estate” main quest. By this point, your character should be level 16 or above and you can take on Professor Garlick’s assignment. When you speak with the Professor, you’ll be given four tasks.
- Acquire and Use a Venomous Tenatacula.
- Acquire and Use a Mandrake on Multiple Enemies Simultaneously.
- Attend Herbology Class During the Day.
- Return to Professor Garlick.
After you return to Professor Garlick, you’ll unlock Wingardium Leviosa, along with a tool collector for the quest items, and 150XP. It’s the Leviosa spell you need, though, in order to get even further in the main story. Hopefully, your character can say the spell better than Ron did.
