How to Unlock the Final Hero Ability in Redfall – Answered
If you’ve taken a glance at your hero’s skill tree, you’ve likely noticed there are four branches. The one of the far left is the ability you’ll unlock almost immediately. But what about the center ability, which has a big lock on it? When will you finally gain access to that?
Fortunately, or unfortunately, depending on how you play the game, the final hero skill is unlocked through leveling and not story progression. To unlock the final hero ability in Redfall, you only need to reach level 5.
At which point, you’ll gain access to the bread and butter of your selected hero’s build. Here’s a sneak peek into what you can expect from your chosen hero.
- Layla’s final ability allows her to summon her vampire ex-boyfriend who went through the exact same medical trial that she did. He’ll then go on to attack anyone in the vicinity for a limited amount of time.
- For cryptozoologist Devinder, it’s much simpler. He tosses out a UV emitter that can petrify enemies within its path. I’m not really sure what’s stopping him from doing that earlier, but it is what it is.
- Veteran Jacob gets the ability to summon a spectral sniper rifle that quickly locks onto a target and fires lethal shots. It’s a great way to clear out a mob of enemies from a distance without ever wasting real ammo.
- Remi, the combat engineer, knows the importance of teamwork and keeping your HP high. Her final hero skill allows her to establish a control point. Everyone within range of it will be healed or revived.
