How to Unlock Gaston’s Meat Stall in Disney Dreamlight Valley

It's time to explore a whole new world of culinary delicacies.

Cooking every dish in Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Rift in Time expansion requires getting some meat, which you can only do after progressing through the main story and befriending Gaston. Let’s talk about how to unlock Gaston’s meat stall in DDLV.

How to Build Gaston’s Meat Stall and Unlock Protein in Disney Dreamlight Valley

To unlock Gaston’s meat stall and have an unlimited supply of pork, poultry, and venison, you must complete his level two friendship quest, Center of Attention, after progressing through the main story enough to access his daily interactions. You’ll build this stall during the mission with help from Scrooge McDuck and Gaston, allowing you to buy protein to use in cooking.

How to Complete the Center of Attention Quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Once you unlock the Center of Attention quest, speak to Gaston to start this three-part journey. You have three primary objectives to complete:

  1. Clean and fix Gaston’s hunting lodge.
  2. Build the Freezer of Infinite Meat.
  3. Cook meat-based meals for Gaston’s party.

To access the meat stall, you’ll have to finish the first two parts of this quest, with the third encouraging you to experiment with meat dishes.

Clean and Fix Gaston’s Hunting Lodge

After entering the hunting lodge, fixing Gaston’s portrait, and cleaning the sand, you’ll be tasked with redecorating its interior. You’ll enlist help from Scrooge McDuck, who requests you bring him some alexandrite, jade, and spinel. You can find all three gems on Eternity Isle.

Below is a summary of where to find each gem:

  1. Alexandrite – The Wastes and Oasis
  2. Jade – The Courtyard and Overlook
  3. Spinel – The Grove and Promenade

You can use their shiny variants if you don’t have regular versions of these gems.

Once you have all three gems, return to Scrooge McDuck to move on to the next part of this section. You’ll now have to collect some copper, oasis glass, and tropical wood, which you’ll return to Gaston to rebuild the hunting lodge.

Build the Freezer of Infinite Meat

Once you repair the hunting lodge, it’s time to make a Freezer of Infinite Meat. You’ll receive a schematic for it, which you can use in your inventory, revealing that you need three freezer fragments.

Below are all three locations for these fragments:

  1. Lower Grasslands – In between the Goofy Stall and Promenade biome bridge.
  2. Upper Grasslands – Near a wooden bridge connecting the Grasslands to the Grove.
  3. Grove – Near Rapunzel’s tower.

After collecting all three fragments, return to your Timebending table to craft the Freezer of Infinite Meat before returning to Gaston. You’re not required to progress further in this quest if your only goal is to unlock this stall.

Build the Freezer of Infinite Meat

To wrap up the Center of Attention quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you must cook four meat-based dishes before attending Gaston’s party and socializing with his quests. Below are the four recipes I used:

  1. Ajiaco: Poultry, Corn, Potato.
  2. Club Sandwich: Pork, Poultry, Wheat, Tomato.
  3. Dumplings: Any Meat, Wheat, Any Vegetable, Soya.
  4. Good Ol’ Fashioned Burger: Venison, Wheat, Lettuce.

However, it doesn’t matter which exact dishes you create, as long as they’re two stars or above and have at least one meat ingredient.

With your four dishes on hand, return to Gaston and chat with the party quests to complete the quest and permanently unlock the meat stall.
