How to Unlock Dual Kodachis in MW2 & Warzone 2

Slice and Dice!

Dual wield melee weapons became popular in Modern Warfare 2019, and now they are making a return in the form of Dual Kodachis in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2. This is the only melee weapon that has been announced for Season 2 and it already looks great.

Most of the time, a new season in COD means a brand-new melee weapon for players to brandish, especially in Search & Destroy. We may see some new ones in Season 2 Reloaded, but for now, let’s focus on the chosen weapon of the Ronin in this MW2 and Warzone 2 guide.

MW2 & Warzone 2 – How to Unlock Dual Kodachis

Three of the four new weapons in Season 2 are tied to the Battle Pass and that includes the new Dual Kodachis. That means you’ll need to grind out Battle Pass XP so you can earn new tokens and progress through the sectors. The Kodachis can be found in Sector B13.

Two paths exist from Sector B1 to Sector B13, and it’s really up to you which one you prioritize. You could even complete both paths before you reach the swords. At the very least, getting to Sector B13 will take about 25 to 30 tokens before you can reach the option for Dual Kodachis.

Once you’ve earned the dual wield weapons, you can find them in the melee weapons section of your loadouts, which is part of your secondary slot. These swords will be faster and will lunge farther than a standard knife, but you’ll lose some mobility with them in comparison, so choose wisely.
