Poncle is giving us quite the run for our money with the new content updates for Vampire Survivors. This time, we are dealing with a new character called Bat Robbert; here’s how to unlock him.
How to Unlock Bat Robbert Character in Vampire Survivors
You will unlock Bat Robbert after you evolve the Pako Battiliar, a new weapon that was also added in Patch 1.9. However, there’s a long road before you can even unlock the Pako Battiliar.
Long, as in, killing 161616 Bats in Vampire Survivors.
After you fulfill the unlock condition, you can purchase Bat Robbert from the character selection screen. The price of Bat Robbert will vary, depending on how many characters you have; the more characters you have, the pricier Bat Robbert will be. There’s no way to reduce the price, and similar to PowerUp purchases, buying every character in the game will always cost the same when you’ve added all the cost up.
As someone who has 100% of the content unlocked, it cost me 3850 Gold to purchase Bat Robbert.
Bat Robbert’s Abilities and Stats in Vampire Survivors
When falling below 20% of max health, he gains +16 MaxHP stat (the maximum you can get from this bonus is +400 MaxHP) and recovers 30% of max health. This ability recharges every time the character is fully healed. With all PowerUps purchased, stats look like this (defaults in brackets):

- Move Speed: +30% [+20%]
- Might: +35% [0]
- Speed: +30% [0]
- Duration: +40% [0]

How Good is Bat Robbert in Vampire Survivors?
Bat Robbert is pretty weak; I’m not going to lie. It takes a lot of time to push his ability to the limit, and it’s absolutely worthless when you face the Red Death. Given the hassle necessary for you to unlock this character, I expected a lot more.
