Where did the recipes go?

With the release of Season 4 in the Call of Duty DMZ, the Barter Recipes have been locked behind the Forward Operating base. These powerful recipes were introduced last season, and if you want to start crafting that powerful equipment in a match again, I have it all explained for you below. Here’s how to unlock Barter Recipes in Call of Duty DMZ.

DMZ – How to Unlock the Barter

The Barter Recipes are unlocked in the Bounty Board upgrades section of the DMZ Forward Operating Base. You can find the FOB in the Mission Selection screen. After opening the mission objectives, select the Upgrades section on the right side, which will bring you to another menu full of unlocks.

All of the Barter Recipes are listed under the Bounty Board section of the Upgrades. As you scroll over these, you can see the requirements to unlock each one. Nearly every Barter Recipe is unlocked by increasing your reputation with a specific Faction, like the Black Mous. If I want to unlock the 3-Plate Comms Vest, for example, I have to reach reputation level 2 for the White Lotus Faction.

Reputation levels are new in Season 4 of DMZ and you simply earn Faction XP by completing standard or daily missions under the contracts. Completing missions for a faction like the White Lotus can give you at least 100 XP and reaching level 2 will only take 200 Reputation.

Unlocking the Barter Recipes in DMZ for 3-Plate Vests will be fairly easy after you get through the Black Mous first-stage missions. Laswell’s Letter is the story mission in the Black Mous that you must finish to start doing tasks for the White Lotus, and unlock the Barter Recipes you need.
