How to Unlock All of Jiren’s Episode Battles’ Branched Timelines in Dragon Ball Sparking ZERO

Chapter 7 – Universe Survival Arc

Episode: Saiyan Rampage

• Options:
  • Finish off Kale (canon).
  • Wait and see: Unlocks the “True Strength” arc.

Episode: Ultimate Climactic Battle

• Battle Conditions:
  • Defeat all enemies: Unlocks the “Strength Is Absolute” episode.
  • Win against all opponents after fighting Master Roshi: Unlocks the “True Strength” episode that can only be unlocked via the “True Strength” arc.

Unlocking the “True Strength” alternate episode is a little more complex than it seems. After defeating Master Roshi (who puts up a heck of a fight!), you’ll be faced with the challenge of four opponents, followed by Ultra Instinct Sign Goku and then Ultra Instinct Goku. The four opponents are Android 17, Golden Frieza, SSB Vegeta, and SSB Goku. They will all need to be defeated within 4 minutes.

Tip: The quickest way to defeat them is to put some distance between your opponent and charge your Ki until you reach Sparking! Mode. This can be done either by using a Vanishing Assault (make sure you time your vanishes and counter vanishes to send your opponent flying) or by hiding behind the tower in the middle of the stage. Once in Sparking! Mode, unleash your Sparking! combo, and after the final hit, activate your Sparking! special move. This will significantly deplete your opponents’ health in the given time. Rinse and repeat until all of four are defeated.

Jiren’s saga features a total of 1 alternate arc and two alternate episodes. As the Universe Survival Arc’s key protagonist and Goku’s biggest challenge, playing as Jiren makes every opponent feel slower and weaker. But beware of some curve balls thrown your way!
