Chapter 6 – Future Trunks Arc

Episode: Twisted World

• Battle Conditions:
  • Wear down Zamasu (canon).
  • Wear down Zamasu within a given time: Unlocks the “Shining Hope” arc.

Episode: Trunks’s Choice

• Battle Conditions:
  • Return to the future (canon).
  • Stay in the present: Unlocks the “Inherited Pride” arc.

Chapter 7 – Future Trunks/Inherited Pride Arc

Episode: To Become Strongest in the Universe…

• Battle Conditions:
  • Wear down your opponent within a given time: Unlocks the “Trunks’s Plea” episode.

Tip: Trunks faces off against three strong opponents, who need to be defeated in under 45 seconds each. The most effective approach is to use Sparking! Mode and land a recurring Sparking! combo until the opponent is forced to swap out. Do this for the first and second opponents. For the third opponent, begin by using Sparking! Mode to land the recurring Sparking! Combo as well, but this time, finish the opponent off with the Sparking! Special Attack. This will fulfill the battle conditions and allow you to progress.

Episode: Father or Teamwork?

• Battle Conditions:
  • Go with Vegeta: Continues the “Inherited Pride” arc to completion.
  • Go with Gohan: Unlocks the “Embarking toward Tomorrow” arc.

Future Trunks’s saga features a total of three alternate arcs and two alternate episodes. Future Trunks’s journey stems from complete loss, and in dealing with that loss, he searches for self-belief. A great way to tell the “What if…” story of Future Trunks, which is definitely worth playing.
