How to Taunt in Street Fighter 6

In any fighting game, taunting can be used for a variety of things. Maybe you want to poke fun at a friend, or maybe you’re trying to put your opponent on tilt after a nasty combo. Either way, taunting in Street Fighter 6 can be a bit tricky. Here is how to taunt in Street Fighter 6.

How to Taunt in SF6

To taunt in Street Fighter 6, you must hit all of the punch and kick buttons simultaneously while also flicking the stick or D-Pad in a direction. There are a few different taunts for each character based on if you move the stick forward, backward, or not at all.

It can be tricky to try and hit every button at the same time, especially if you’re playing on a controller.

So We’ve found it best to use the L2 and L1 buttons for your heavy and medium hits. That way, you only need to hit the following buttons simultaneously.

  • X/A
  • Square/X
  • D-Pad/Stick

This will provide you with the desired taunt.

Remapping Taunt in Street Fighter 6

You can also choose to remap the Taunt button to an open button on your controller/ fight stick. Clicking in the Right stick on controller is always a good way to go for a taunt if you don’t want to do it in the heat of battle accidentally.

That being said, everyone maps their controllers for fighting games differently, and it’s up to you how you want to do it.
