Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance is a massive JRPG packed with tons of content to get through and enjoy. Getting to that content on PC always takes a bit because of the multiple intro videos, logos, and disclaimers. If you want to get to the demon-hunting action as soon as possible, here is how you can skip the Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance intro videos.

Skip the Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance Intro Videos

Once again, we have modder Lyall to thank for their excellent patch for Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance. One of the features of this patch is to skip the intro entirely and jump straight to the main menu.

  • Head over to the following GitHub link
  • Download the latest patch file (0.8.5 as of writing) by clicking the SMTVFix_v0.8.5.zip under assets
  • Extract the zip file to where Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance is installed

steamapps\common\SMT5V

  • After that, head to the following location

steamapps\common\SMT5V\Project\Binaries\Win64

  • Here, open the SMTVFix.ini file using a text editor like Notepad or Notepad++
  • Set the value of Enabled to true under [Intro Skip]. You can set the other features to true as well if you want. I particularly recommend the option that removes the 60 FPS cap from the menus.
  • After that, save the file and exit out

That’s all you need to do, and the next time you launch Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance, it will take you straight to the main menu, and you won’t have to watch or skip through anything.
