How to Fix Structures in Nightingale

Nightingale Simple Hammer Essence Trader

To repair structures in Nightingale, you’ll need a hammer of some kind. The earliest hammer you can get is the Simple Hammer, the recipe of which can be purchased from an Essence Trader. Essence Traders are found as map markers on your map, with mine for example being found right next to the Antiquarian Site of Power. This may be different in your playthrough. When speaking with the Trader, he’ll want 30 Essence Dust to purchase the blueprint for the Simple Hammer. You can get more by extracting items from your inventory.

Once you have the recipe, head to a workbench you’ve built (if you haven’t built one, you should have the card in your Crafting menu) and get the needed materials. After it’s finished crafting, you should have the Simple Hammer in one of your gear slots. If you don’t, you can add it to your inventory. Once it’s equipped, simply hit whatever building you want to repair with the hammer to repair it.

Keep in mind that when repairing items, you will use some of the durability of your hammer. Once it’s destroyed, you’ll need to build a new one naturally. However, you shouldn’t need to visit the Essence Trader again and can simply skip to crafting it. Recipes that you purchase have infinite uses, so you could make 100 Simple Hammers if you wanted to. Please don’t actually do that, there are much better ways to use your resources.
