How to Get Slingbow Ammo in Nightingale

It's right there on the ground

Once you get the Simple Workbench, one of the earliest things you can craft in Nightingale is the Simple Slingbow, which in turn will need its own ammo. And while you may be confused about where you can get it, it ends up being quite simple.

Where to Find Slingbow Ammo in Nightingale

Ammo for your slingbow can be crafted on the Simple Workbench. Slightly above the Simple Slingbow recipe, you can see the Simple Rock Marble, which requires only 6 Rocks to be made. The Marbles can be used as ammo, so simply craft a few of these to get your ammo.

Rocks can be easily found around Realms by exploring a bit, so you won’t have much trouble locating them regardless of where you spawn. Be aware that you need Rocks themselves, not the Stone Blocks you can get by using the Mining Pick. While they’re quite useful for other recipes, they won’t serve you as ammo for your weapons.

Rock Marbles are the simplest (literally) ammo you can get, but are quite effective for how easily they can be made. They are automatically consumed directly from your inventory whenever you shoot your Slingbow and you don’t need to equip them anywhere.

The Slingbow is one of the earliest recipes unlocked in the Workbench, and you should definitely go for it as soon as you can as you initially have no ranged options for hunting. And many realms feature creatures that can easily outrun you at first sight, making it harder for you to get food. The Slingbow averts this while also serving as a great method of self-defense.

So just go look for rocks whenever you need some extra ammo. They’re definitely easier to find than Plant Fiber early in the game, so you shouldn’t have much trouble with them. And grab some extras for other recipes too!
