In celebration of the upcoming release of the Scarlet & Violet Trading Card Set in the United States, GameStop will be offering a free Flying Tera Type Lechonk to anyone who comes into the store. This Lechonk can be obtained for free starting March 31, with codes for Lechonk being offered all throughout the weekend.

You’ll have until June 30, 2023 to redeem this offer. But how do you even redeem it?

First, GameStop will give you a code. You can then input this code into the Mystery Gift menu in your Pokemon Scarlet or Violet game.

To do that, head into your main menu, then select “Poke Portal”.

Scroll to the bottom and you’ll see “Mystery Gift”. Once you select this, you’ll be presented with four different options:

  • Get via Internet
  • Get with Code/Password
  • Check Mystery Gifts
  • Check Poke Portal News

Select Get with Code/Password.

On the next screen, input the code that the GameStop employee gave you. Once you submit it, you’ll get a cute animation and Lechonk will join your team! Supposedly, there’s even a physical promo card you can claim, but it’s uncertain yet whether you’ll have to purchase something to get it.
