One of the initiation quests you’ll have to complete involves planting trees. However, you’ll quickly notice that their seeds are surprisingly tricky to find! How to Get Wild Tree Seeds in Palia – Prove Your Devotion Quest Guide
Wild tree seeds are a rare drop from trees in Palia. While your first axe is suitable for breaking small bushes, you must upgrade to at least a copper axe to begin chopping down larger trees. Once you do this, whether you get a seed mainly comes down to luck. Upgrading to a fine axe and targeting large trees will significantly increase your odds of finding seeds.
There are two ways to get tree seeds in Palia:
- Rare drop from chopping down trees
- Use community requests
If you have many extra resources and are okay with spending some money, you can also buy the Fine Axe upgrade from Ashura for 1500 coins after reaching level six Foraging. It takes iron bars and heartwood planks to make the axe, but using this on large trees will make it much easier to find seeds.
If you’re not quite level six, continue chopping down trees and collecting wild flowers to gain EXP. Eating food to gain focus will also help you get bonus experience.

Oh, and don’t worry. It doesn’t matter which tree type you look for. I chopped down the trees around my home plot and used an entire copper axe and a half to find all five seeds.
Obtaining Wild Tree Seeds Through Community Requests
Another method to get seeds is to create a request for acorns, samara seeds, or pinecones. While you’re not guaranteed to get them, some players may have excess and fulfill your request, allowing you to plant some wild trees without chopping them down. It’s a good idea to do this while chopping down trees, as it takes time to run around, collect your resources, and repair your axe.
How to Plant Trees
Once you’ve gotten your hands on some wild tree seeds, it’s time to plant them! To do this, select it in your hotbar and click the ground. A tree preview will appear on the spot, showing how much space it’ll take up if you plant it. Confirm your selection to plant your trees and finish the Prove Your Devotion quest!
