How to Make Money Fast in Stalker 2 Heart of Chornobyl

Here are some ways you can earn money fast in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl.

Money can be a hassle to manage in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl when you progress further. Repairing weapons and purchasing upgrades are costly, and you will have to save up a lot of money just for that. In this guide, we will go over different ways you can earn the maximum amount of money in the game.

Loot the Stashes

When you are roaming an area, you will see stashes added to your map, which you can loot for valuable items. Some of the stashes will contain high-quality armor that sells for thousands of credits. Loot the stashes whenever you’re nearby in the hope of finding rare armor.

Even if you don’t get high-quality armor from the stash, you can still find some other valuable items that you can sell to the traders. In a survival game like Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl, anything and everything can be crucial for resource management.

Sell Weapons and Ammo

You can sell weapons to the traders even if they are damaged. They go for a lot of credits. You will find a lot of weapons on the ground when you clear an enemy base or complete a mission. One thing to note is that broken weapons (indicated by red) will not sell for anything. Only bring back weapons that are damaged and leave the broken ones behind.

Along with the weapons, you can also sell the ammo you are not using. There are fixed prices per round of ammo, and you can sell a stack for a hefty amount. If you find dropped weapons on the ground, unload them and store all the ammo in the backpack. Go back to the trader and sell the ammo for some quick bucks.

Complete Side Missions

Many NPCs that hang around the base will give you side quests to complete. Completing these side quests will give you credits, and it can be a lucrative way to spend your time.

Even if you don’t get enough credits from completing the mission, you can also search the area for valuables on the way. There will always be something valuable hidden in that area. So make sure you check every nook and cranny before you leave.

Another thing to add is that if the NPC you’re taking the side quest from has something valuable on them, you can kill that NPC after completing the mission and loot their body. However, this is not the most honorable way to make cash.

Then again, who will ever know?

Conserve Your Resources

Resources are limited in the world of Stalker 2, so you should be looking to conserve them and always be mindful of how you use them. This isn’t your everyday looter-shooter where you can spend lavishly, so you might have to change how you play and make the most out of what you have. There are a few ways you can do that:

  • You can start by only using Skif’s pistol for human enemies and smaller mutants. One headshot is enough to kill them using the pistol. You will have to improve your aiming skills, but it will conserve your ammo and the repair costs for other weapons.
  • Fast traveling also costs a lot of credits. Only use it when you have to get to a distant part of the map. Always stick to traveling by foot and looking for items along the way.
  • Inventory management is also a hassle in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. Instead of storing large amounts of food items in your backpack, only keep a few. The areas you will visit should have enough food items to keep you from starving. With that extra space in your backpack, you can carry other important resources that you can then sell for credits.
  • Adopt a scavenger play-style. If you see two groups of people fighting with each other, wait for one of the groups to survive and then eliminate the survivors. Loot the bodies for items and sell them off to the trader.

Search for Artifacts

Artifacts can be sold for a hefty amount of credit since they are the most valuable item in the game. There are many ways you can farm Artifacts, which you can learn more about in our How to Get Artifacts guide.

If you have Artifacts lying around in your inventory that are of no use to you, sell them to the trader for some easy credits. Some Artifacts are useful for passive nerfs to your attributes, but some will be completely useless and won’t fit your playstyle. Sell them off to the trader instead of throwing them away.

And these are all the ways to maximize your profit in the game. If you are looking for more guides on the game, take a look at how to repair weapons or how to turn on your flashlight.
