How to Make Money Fast in Escape from Tarkov | Patch 0.15

Interchange is king!

Escape from Tarkov has a very fragile and intricate economy. Some item prices can skyrocket to the moon and fall to the earth in a span of a day. Some players even play the flea market more than the game. However, there are other ways to make Roubles or money that are fun and rewarding at the same time. In this guide, I’ll share my best money-farming strategy in Escape from Tarkov.

How to Make Roubles Fast in Escape from Tarkov

For a brief overview of the farm, the strategy will involve very short raids on Interchange that focus on getting the easiest high-value item to loot, depending on your spawn. You aren’t bringing a bag, and you are going to use the Hole in the Fence extraction to get your loot out. This strategy has worked for the last five wipes, including the big change with interactive loot. Here’s the pros and cons of the farming strategy:

ProsCons
Flexible loot farm. You can focus on getting what items are expensive at the moment.Queue times can hurt your farming
High chance for high-value loot like GPUs and TetrizYou’ll fight at a slight disadvantage
Cheap loadouts
Levels Endurance skill fast

Your setup wants a cheap short-range weapon because you’ll be running around a lot. You want to bring a single IFAK or AFAK, a Hemostat, and a Golden Star or Vaseline. You’ll fit these med items in your container rather than your pockets or rig.

Since you won’t be using a bag, you want the cheapest rig that has a four-slot grid and multiple slots. The Umka and Blackrock are usually your go-to rigs. You want a headset and a body armor. You can use any body armor, but in the mid to late wipe, you want to use Korunds. Now that the setup is done, here’s the farming strategy.

Best Money Farming Strategy on Interchange in Escape from Tarkov

There are four main spawn points on Interchange: OLI corner, Emercom, IDEA side, and Hole in the Fence side. Depending on your spawn, your farming route can change. Generally, you just want to know which places to hit on Interchange for loot and adjust your farming route depending on where you spawn and active hotspots on the map.

You want to loot all the tech spots inside the mall. These are Techlight, Rasmussen, Texho, German, and TT. The best would be Texho and Techlight, but these places are extremely hot. You should go here if you have the OLI spawn. Otherwise, you can go for the other tech stores. This is where you farm the Graphics Cards and Tetriz.

For technical loot like Water Filters, Corrugated Hoses, Car Batteries, and more, you want to hit OLI, which is probably the second hottest area on the map. You’ll loot all the shelves and probably hit the PC rooms in the office for a chance at a Graphics Card.

If OLI and these tech spots are hot, you can settle for the grocery in Goshan, which is perfect because it is also near the Hole in the Fence extraction. Tarcolas, Hot Rods, Herrings, and other food items are always valuable because of the Mr. Holodilnick Thermal Bag barter.

The worst spawn for the farming strategy is the IDEA-side spawn. If you get this spawn, you are most likely hitting the IDEA office for some random tech stuff and IDEA for a chance at some Bronze Lions, Ravens, and others. If you don’t have enough loot from these spots, you’ll go to Emercom Medical Unit, TT, and German for more loot.

You’ll be close to Goshan, but there’s a high chance you might encounter an enemy PMC.

How to Extract Using this Interchange Farming Strategy

You want to extract using the Hole in the Fence on most occasions. Go to the back of Goshan and use the planks to get down to the basement. Once you are down the basement, head left and make another left once you see the exit outside the mall.

You can also jump out of the fence from the back of Goshan (near the ramp going to Emercom). You want to land on the container so you don’t break your legs. In rare situations where extractions like the Power Station Vehicle Extraction, Railway, and Emercom Checkpoint exfils are closer, you should take them instead. In other situations where you find multiple high-value items, you can hit some Scavs and get a backpack, but this is also rare.

If you want more action, you can try farming in Escape from Tarkov: Arena and open some Arena Crates, GP Coins, Lega Medals, and Roubles and send them to the base Escape from Tarkov game.
