Infinite Craft: Engine Recipe Combination

Engine can be made with two of your starting elements: Water and Fire. First, combine Water and Fire to make Steam. Then, combine Steam with Fire again, and you’ll have yourself an Engine.

  • Water + Fire = Steam
  • Steam + Fire = Engine

Basic Infinite Craft Recipes Using Engine

Engine can’t be combined with Water and Fire in Infinite Craft—it will just revert back to Steam in those cases. To make some simple recipes using Engine, you’ll want to work with Wind and Earth instead.

  • Engine + Wind = Windmill
  • Engine + Earth = Tractor

Combing a Windmill and Engine will go back to Wind, but Engine can combine a bit further with Tractor.

  • Engine + Tractor = Tank

Unfortunately, Tank and Engine can’t be combined at all.

Using an Engine to Make Sandbox in Infinite Craft

An Engine can be used to make a Sandbox in Infinite Craft. First, follow the steps below to make some Sand:

  • Earth + Wind = Dust
  • Dust + Dust = Sand

Once you have your Sand ready, put it into your Engine to make your Sandbox.

  • Engine + Sand = Sandbox

Using an Engine to Make Time Travel in Infinite Craft

You can use an Engine to power a Time Machine and even Time Travel in Infinite Craft. If you already have Sand as detailed above, heat it up with some Fire to make Glass.

  • Sand + Fire = Glass

What do you get when you put Sand in some Glass? Depending on the shape of the container, you’ll get an Hourglass.

  • Glass + Sand = Hourglass

Use this Hourglass to make a Time Machine with your Engine.

  • Engine + Hourglass = Time Machine

You have a few options now that you have a Time Machine at your disposal. You can make full blown Time Travel by combining it with your Engine, like so:

  • Engine + Time Machine = Time Travel

Or, you can go back to the future by making a special car. Use the Glass you’ve made to make a Window, then combine it with an Engine to make a Car.

  • Glass + Glass = Window
  • Engine + Window = Car

Now combine your Car with your Time Machine to make none other than the Delorean.

  • Time Machine + Car = Delorean

You have many options open to you from here. Experiment with the components you have, or check out our guides for making Music, Paper, or even the Internet in Infinite Craft.
