How to Make a Snowman in Death Must Die Christmas Update

Make yourself a target dummy out of snow

The Death Must Die Christmas update has dropped and it brings us some cozy, holiday content. It’s nothing special, but it surely brings the Christmas spirit into the game. You can build a snowman in the new Snowswatch patch, and in this guide, we’ll show you how it’s done.

Where is the Snowman in Death Must Die?

Snowman can be built outside of your base. When you are at the center (in the Star Crux) head out southwest and leave the cave. After reaching the outside, you will see sparkling snow around the center of the outside area.

I have located ten of these sparks, and when you approach them, you will get a dialogue prompt to press “E” at the “Pile of Snow,” and after you do so, you will build your very own Snowman. Unfortunately, I couldn’t catch all ten with a singular screenshot, but here’s how they look when they are assembled.

As you can see, they come in various shapes and forms, but is there anything more than meets the eye regarding Snowmen in Death Must Die?

What is the Purpose of Pile of Snow and Snowman in Death Must Die?

In the absence of an official comment by the developer, I see it as a time-limited cosmetic update that will be removed with the next patch after the Christmas (Snowswatch) season. They just stand there, and no further interaction is possible with the Snowman after you build it. There is no achievement for this either, which makes sense, as players who miss out on the event would be unable to earn 100% achievements if that were the case.

Speaking of achievements, a pretty hard achievement in Death Must Die requires you to defeat Gargoyles in under 20 seconds with Nixi, which we can help you with.
