To start a Picnic in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, you’ll want to press X to bring up your menu, and select Picnic. After you have selected this option, all of the Pokemon in your party will be brought out onto the field, alongside a table full of goodies. Press the A button near this table, and select the “Make A Sandwich” option to start the fun.
