How to Hide Your Helmet in Warhammer 40K: Rogue Trader

Your foes will tremble at the power of your secret hat.

How to Hide Armor in Warhammer 40K: Rogue Trader

To hide your helmet in Warhammer 40K: Rogue Trader, you’ll want to open up your character’s inventory and check next to the sorting buttons for all your gear. Here, you should see an orange button labeled Outfit Settings, which you can click on to open an Appearance menu. From here, simply set “Show helmet” and “Show backpack” to off if you don’t want to see either piece of gear. If you’re on your Rogue Trader, you can also select from a set of colors to change your outfit’s main color.

Once done, simply click Complete and you’ll be good to go. Keep in mind that you have to do this for every character that you don’t want the helmet or backpack shown for. I found this out when trying to take Argenta’s helmet off since I heavily prefer her non-helmet look.

Can You Hide Any Other Armor on Characters?

Sadly, there’s no way to hide any other armor unless you take that armor off the character entirely. This is likely done due to the slight changes made when equipping other types of armor, but we’ll hopefully see it added in a future update. You also can’t hide whatever weapon your characters are holding, or change the appearance to another weapon. That one makes a little more sense though, due to visual clarity.

Warhammer 40K: Rogue Trader is available on PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. If you’re looking for more help in your journey, check out our guide on what an Iconoclast is in Rogue Trader.
