How to Get Water and Quench Your Thirst in City 20

Goga, stop hogging the water.

City 20 is your typical survival-crafting game where you must satisfy your needs, like food and hunger, to survive. Food is a bit intuitive because you’ll often find random apple trees, mushrooms, and other food lying around. However, finding drinks or water is a bit harder if you don’t know where to look. Here’s a quick guide on how to get water and quench that thirst in City 20.

How to Get Water and Satisfy Thirst in City 20

To quench your thirst, you need something to drink, the most common being water. At the beginning of the game, you will explore the map to find materials for crafting, and may even find other NPCs and discover new factions in just your first hour of playing.

However, you’ll start losing hunger and thirst. The game starts you off with some food in your refrigerator as mentioned by Goga. However, he doesn’t teach you about where to get water. Luckily, water is literally just outside your house.

You’ll see a well in between your house and Goga’s house. If you interact with it, you’ll see water in the middle of the well. You can drink water from the well and wait until it replenishes. It is a bit deceptive as you wouldn’t think to look here as Goga throws you off with a quest for a generator at the start of the game.

How to Put Water in a Container in City 20

It would be pretty annoying if the only way to quench your thirst was to drink water straight out of the well. Luckily, you can grab random containers, like empty bottles, and put water inside them. You don’t even have to clean them.

Interact with the well and look for the empty bottle in your inventory. When the water well’s window is up, you can click your water bottle and look for “fill container,” and you should be able to fill it with water from the well.

What is even more surprising is that if you find other containers around the world, you can also fill them up with water and drink from them. For example, if you find an empty fuel tank, you can use the same method to fill it up with water, and it’ll have even more water inside.

Having water is always a good idea for survival, but you also need it for crafting items that need water when there isn’t a well nearby. So, it’s wise to always keep some water in your inventory.
