If you’ve progressed far enough into the main story, you may be familiar with Professor Garlick’s first assignment, asking you to acquire and use both mandrakes and Venomous Tentacula. If you’re interested in learning more, continue reading to discover how to get Venomous Tentacula in Hogwarts Legacy.

To get some Venomous Tentacula, you’ll have to make your way to the northern part of Hogsmeade, just past the Brood and Peck and across the bridge. Your destination is Dogweed and Deathcap, a shop north of Hogsmeade that sells various alchemical ingredients.

Once you arrive at Dogweed and Deathcap, talk to Beatrice Green, the shopkeeper, to find her list of wares. Within the list, you’ll find both Venomous Tentacula and seeds for the plant available to purchase. The Tenacula itself costs 600 gold, while its seed form costs 1050. If you buy the seeds, you can grow them in the Room of Requirement after purchasing a potting table with a large pot from Tomes and Scrolls. If you just want to get it done and over with quickly, though, you can buy one from Dogweed and Deathcap for a reduced price.
