How to Get Unforgiven in Destiny 2

RIP to Milos the War Dog

Calus is making waves again in Destiny 2, so it only makes sense that we celebrate with as many of his weapons as possible. And that includes the submachine gun, Unforgiven, which embodies the fact that he killed his daughter’s dog. Here’s how to get Unforgiven in Destiny 2.

How to Get Unforgiven in Destiny 2

Unforgiven is a fantastic PvE submachine gun with an aggressive frame, making it excellent for shredding rank-and-file enemies. But how do you actually obtain it?

First, you’ll need access to Duality, a dungeon released during the Season of the Haunted. To access this dungeon, you’ll need the Witch Queen Season Pass or Dungeon Key, as well as the quest A Single Thread from Hawthorne in the Bazaar of the tower.

Once you have the key, navigate to the Moon and select Duality from the map. Unfortunately, there’s only one chest that can potentially drop Unforgiven, and that’s the Encounter 2 chest in which you’ll unlock the vault. And it all boils down to RNG. Unforgiven is just one of five possible drops.

But there is good news! Duality is completely farmable. And, once you do find it, you’ll be able to open the optional chests in the dungeon for a chance at a second one. This is the best method to find its god roll, as Unforgiven is not craftable.

Unforgiven’s God Roll in Destiny 2

As you might expect from a machine gun with an aggressive frame, Unforgiven is fantastic at PvE and fairly decent at PvP. But if you really want to see Unforgiven shine, you must be surrounded by Vandals and Acolytes, raining down bullets and grenades in a hail of death.

  • Basic Barrel → Corkscrew Rifling. Stability +5, Range +5, Handling +5.
  • Basic Magazine → Ricochet Rounds. Range +5, Stability +10.
  • Basic Trait 1 → Demolitionist. Kills with this weapon generate grenade energy. Activating your grenade ability reloads this weapon from reserves. Ability Energy: 10%.
  • Basic Trait 2 → Adrenaline Junkie. This weapon gains increased damage and handling from final blows with grenades or this weapon. On weapon or grenade kill: 6.7% – 33.3% increased damage and 20 Handling for 4.5 seconds.

If you’re curious about other fantastic submachine guns, now is the time to get your hands on CALUS Mini Tool.
