Where to Get Thorn Armor in Fallout 76

A handful of vendors sell Thorn Armor in Fallout 76, including Regs and Minerva, both of which require Gold Bullion. However, the latter rotates her stock of unique items weekly, so you must visit at least once weekly to discover her wares.

Back in the day, before Bethesda Game Studios removed the Vault Raids, you could receive the Thorn Armor as a quest reward for completing the event. Unfortunately, that’s no longer the case. Now, the only way to obtain the crafting plans is to purchase them, which is expensive for the complete set.

How to Craft Thorn Armor in Fallout 76

Once you have the associated crafting plans for each piece of Thorn Armor, you need to visit an Armor Workbench and craft each piece using the appropriate resources. Those resources include:

Thorn Armor Mask
1x Leather
3x Plastic
1x Rubber
5x Steel
Thorn Armor Arms
8x Ballistic Fiber
15x Leather
1x Legendary Module
19x Plastic
15x Rubber
13x Vault 94 Steel
Thorn Armor Legs
8x Ballistic Fiber
15x Leather
1x Legendary Module
21x Plastic
15x Rubber
13x Vault 94 Steel
Thorn Armor Chest
8x Ballistic Fiber
17x Leather
1x Legendary Module
26x Plastic
18x Rubber
13x Vault 94 Steel

As you can see, it’s pretty expensive to craft Thorn Armor. As such, this is more of an end-game light armor getup for experienced players who not only have the Gold Bullion to afford each crafting plan but also the resources to craft each piece.
