How to Get the Vox Omnium Unique in Diablo 4

Be the master of all the elements!

Diablo 4’s season 5 Infernal Hordes introduces multiple class-exclusive uniques, and none looks cooler than the Vox Omnium unique. It is an item that adds a lot of flavor to a Sorcerer’s core skill build because it fires Fire Bolts, Frost Bolts, and Sparks all on its own. However, finding something unique in Diablo 4 gets harder and harder as they introduce more and more unique characters each season. Here’s the best way to find the Vox Omnium unique item in Diablo 4’s season 5 Infernal Hordes.

Where to Get the Vox Omnium Unique in Diablo 4

There are multiple ways to get the Vox Omnium unique item. You can get a random unique drop from doing Nightmare Dungeons, Helltides, Tormented Bosses, and more. Nightmare Dungeons are only worth it if you are farming the highest tiers because they give “rarer” loot, and you’ll find more unique items than usual.

Helltides are great for gaining XP in Diablo 4, but if you go for the Baneful Heart or the Maiden events, you’ll get more unique and legendary items at the end. This method is easily repeatable as long as you have Baneful Hearts. You’ll also collect some Aberrant Cinders, which you can use to open two-handed weapons or heavy weaponry chests to target farm the Vox Omnium unique. Keep in mind that you need to use a Sorcerer to get the Vox Omnium to drop.

In most cases, while doing Helltides, you’ll also finish some Grim Favors, and you can get a reward from the Tree of Whispers. You can also get some two-handed weapon caches and find the Vox Omnium through this method.

However, the best method to get Vox Omnium is through the Infernal Hordes season 5 mechanic. You’ll need to reach tier 3 difficulty to get The Eyes of the Enemy questline, which unlocks the Infernal Hordes or the first Infernal Compass. You’ll need to collect some Infernal Compasses to open an Infernal Hordes encounter.

After finishing the Infernal Hordes event, you’ll gain some Burning Aether to spend at the end. You can spend these on Spoils of Equipment or Spoils of Greater Equipment to get the Vox Omnium unique, or other new unique items in Diablo 4’s season 5.

Vox Omnium Sorcerer Builds in Diablo 4

The build requires you to build around a Core skill, which is perfect since Chain Lightning is especially strong this season. However, since it is a weapon, it needs to drastically strengthen your character, or you are better off with a rare weapon with GAs or Greater Affixes.

Vox Omnium adds Fire Bolt, Frost Bolt, and Spark to your core skill casts. This is great because this single item alone can activate Tal’Rasha’s (the ring) effect on its own. Apart from that effect, you can also forego the Fire Bolt enchantment because you will be applying the Burning debuff through the Fire Bolt skill already.

You can slip the Vox Omnium into any Sorcerer core skill builds and keep these mechanics in mind.
