With the release of Update 2.0 for Cyberpunk 2077, there have been many new items added to the game, and one of those items is the Errata Thermal Katana. You can get the Thermal Katana for free in the game during a story mission or by going to the place afterward. In this guide, we will teach you where to find the Thermal Katana in Cyberpunk 2077 and how to get it.
How to Get The Errata Thermal Katana in Cyberpunk 2077
You can get the Thermal Katana in Cyberpunk 2077 during the Disasterpiece main mission in the Furnace Room. But if you have already completed the mission, you can go back to the location and get the Katana. However, the door leading to the Furnace Room will be locked. You will need to unlock the doors with Technical Ability points. The required points that you will need depend on your current level. For example, if you are level 50, it will take 20 Technical Points to unlock the double doors.
To get to the location where the mission took place, head to the marked area on the map in Santo Domingo, Arroyo. You will see the entrance to the Electric Corporation factory opened. If the door is closed for you, you can force open it or get inside from the destroyed building on the left.
Once inside, you will see cameras that will spot you and alarm the enemies. But there will be no enemies in the building since you’ve already killed them all during the mission. So, there’s no need to worry about getting spotted by the cameras.
Go inside and turn to your right. You will see a staircase leading downward. Follow the staircase to the next room and open the door with the “No Entry” marked on the top.
Now, open the door on the left and keep going straight. Jump out of the window and go to your left. Turn to your right and go to the room with two chairs and a table in the middle. Once there, go to your right. You will see a staircase leading to a door with a red light on top. Open the door and go inside.
In front of you will be the Furnace Room, where you will find the Errata Katana. During the mission, you will be able to open the door in front of you. However, you cannot open it when the mission is not active.
To get inside the furnace room, there will be double doors on your left that you can unlock using Technical Ability points. If you have enough technical points, unlock the door and get inside.
You will find the Thermal Katana inside the furnace. Interact with the Katana, and it will get added to your inventory.
