Scoring new spacesuits in Starfield is a major part of your character’s progression. Not only can these come with specific buffs that improve your experience, such as providing you more oxygen, but can also give some great resistances to damage of all types. One spacesuit is easily the strongest in the game but takes the longest to get. Here’s how to get the Starborn Spacesuit Avitus in Starfield.

The Starborn Spacesuit Avitus in Starfield is earned after completing your eighth playthrough of Starfield on New Game Plus, or after completing Starfield on that character nine times. Once you begin your 10th run, you’ll get the Starborn Spacesuit Avitus. Each time you enter New Game Plus, you get a new suit of Starborn armor that features stronger stats than the last. For example, your first run-through of New Game Plus will score you the Starfield Spacesuit Astra.

The Starborn Spacesuit Avitus comes with some of the best stats of all Starfield armors. At base, it boasts the following:

  • PHYS: 235
  • ENGY: 235
  • EM: 235
  • Thermal: 50
  • Airborne: 50
  • Corrosive: 50
  • Radiation: 50

Curiously, the suit doesn’t sport any perks like some of the previous Starborn suits. This doesn’t make it worse than the others, but it’s something to keep in mind if you like the perks of some other armor.

What Else Do You Get For Completing New Game Plus?

Besides getting a new spacesuit, completing Starfield’s New Game Plus also grants you a new version of the Starborn Guardian ship. This starts at a base level of I on your first New Game Plus run and ends at VI with the sixth run of New Game Plus. Each run also lets you upgrade your Powers, so they cost less to use and provide a stronger buff.

Is the Starborn Spacesuit Avitus Worth Getting?

While this iteration of the Starborn suit offers some of the best stats in Starfield, the fact you need to complete the game nine times straight is a massive turnoff. If you’re going to do that anyway since you’re a completionist, then you might see the dedication as worth it. Otherwise, don’t do that to yourself. Rarely is a game ever worth more than one playthrough, let alone nine.
