Where to Find the Rainbow Fox Companion in Disney Dreamlight Valley

There are two parts to getting the rainbow fox companion in Disney Dreamlight Valley:

  • Obtaining the rainbow potion
  • Finding the stone fox statue in the Dark Castle

To accomplish both, you’ll have to find six colored potatoes, make them into potions, and craft them into a rainbow potion. With this potion on hand, you must progress far enough into the story to reach the Dark Castle and find a stone fox statue!

Don’t worry if you already went to the Dark Castle and forgot to bring the potion. I can confirm that you can return to this location later, allowing you to find the fox statue even after finishing this part of the main story! While you can find it during the Dark Castle quest, focusing on the mission and revisiting the area later is fine.

How to Make the Rainbow Potion in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Starting with the rainbow potion, you’ll have to get your hands on the following potato mixtures:

  • Royal Purple Potion

  • Crystalline Green Potion
  • Gleaming Gold Potion
  • Electrifying Orange Potion
  • Raging Red Potion

With all these on hand, head into your crafting station and select Potion & Enchantment to find this colorful brew! Craft it to get the rainbow potion, consuming the other six in the process.

Once you have gotten your hands on the rainbow potion, progress through the Forgotten Relics quest line until you enter the Dark Castle. Here, you’ll appear on the main floor of a darker Dream Castle. However, before entering the first door, head right and clear out the night thorns. As you run past the staircase, you’ll find various furniture items, including the stone fox sitting on the floor.
