How to Get the Orbital Step Emblem in Destiny 2

What is Destiny without something to grind?

We’re deep into Season of the Seraph and well-established in our quest with the Exo-Frame in the H.E.L.M.. This likely means that your reputation with the Exo Frame is high if you’ve been keeping up with his weekly quests. If that’s the case (or even if it isn’t), you might be wondering how to get the Orbital Step Emblem in Destiny 2.

Here’s how you do it.

How to Get the Orbital Step Emblem in Destiny 2

Let’s be frank, the Orbital Step Emblem is pretty cool. Its emblem almost looks like a pictographic wolf, and its banner is nothing to sneeze at. Fortunately, obtaining it is fairly straightforward.

To get the Orbital Step Emblem in Destiny 2, you need to reset your reputation with the Exo-Frame once. This is also necessary if you hope to get the Seraph Triumph Seal. But don’t worry if your reputation with Rasputin is still in the single digits. Here’s the best way to accelerate the process and get you all the way to Level 17, the last Level you’ll need to reach before you can reset your progress.

Each Level will take 775 experience, so prepare yourself for a grind. The primary way to get Exo-Frame Reputation is through Heist Battlegrounds. But don’t go into it wearing whatever you want. You’ll want to equip the full Warmind Outfit. The name of these armor pieces will vary depending on which class you’re playing. For example, the Warlock’s armor is called Warmind’s Avatar.

Each of these armor pieces offers a 5% bonus to the reputation gained for the Exo Frame. Wear all four (there’s no Class Armor piece), and you’ll gain a 20% bonus. This is excellent because Heists are awful and sometimes extremely tedious, so the less we have to do them, the better.

Next, we’ll want to select the shortest Heist possible. You can actually select your preferred Heist by going to the planet where it’s based and selecting the sword icon on the map. Those who queue for a general Heist or that particular Heist will join you. I personally prefer the Moon.

Another thing you can do to accelerate this process is to take bounties from the Exo-Frame. The first five you select will offer +25 Exo-Frame reputation. Even better, most of them are easy to complete while doing heists.

This combined method will shorten your Exo-Frame reputation farm significantly. Good luck getting that Emblem, Guardian!
