How to Get the Aspect of the Alpha in Diablo 4

Time to sharpen those Wolf fangs.

Those who want to get the most out of their character builds in Diablo 4 need to go for some formidable Aspects. Some of these Aspects can be applied no matter the character you’re playing, while others affect certain character skills that can be a massive help in some builds. One such aspect can help our nature-loving friend but is a little tough to find. Here’s how to get the Aspect of the Alpha in Diablo 4.

Where to Find the Aspect of the Alpha in Diablo 4

The Aspect of the Alpha can be found on randomly dropped legendary gear found off either enemy drops or from chests spread throughout the wild. If you’re wanting to get the Aspect of the Alpha exclusively, you’ll want to farm dungeons and world events until you get a legendary drop, then pray that it’s the Aspect of the Alpha. You can also try your hand at some gambling with the Purveyor of Curiosities if you think you can get lucky.

What Does the Aspect of the Alpha Do?

The Aspect of the Alpha is designed exclusively for the nature expert, the Druid. Having the aspect equipped will modify the Wolf companions to become Werewolves, gifting them 75-100% additional damage when attacking a target. Attacks from Werewolves can also apply the Rabies skill. This is one of the Druid’s Wrath skills that applies an amount of initial damage along with Poison damage over six seconds.

Naturally, this transforms the Wolves from a decent companion to a great one with some very solid single-target damage. If you’re willing to dump the points in, getting the Wolves maxed out with this Aspect would be a worthwhile investment. You can also pick up Rabies while you’re at it for your own Druid, though that won’t have much of an effect on the Wolves themselves. It’s fun to join the pack sometimes though.
