How to Get the Suppressed AR in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3

Stay silent with a Fortnite classic.

With the main Dragon Ball Super event phased out, the Shadow of Phantasm Week has gone live in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3, and the Suppressed AR has made a return. Along with the classic assault rifle, tactical gadgets and the Suppressed SMG have also been unvaulted for the week.

Players have wanted the SCAR to return for a long time, and the Suppressed Assault Rifle is the next best thing, despite some of the negatives. But you’ll only have a week to get a hold of the weapon, complete some challenges, and earn some Victory Royales. Our guide will outline how to pick one up along with all the other new equipment.

Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 – Where to Find the Suppressed AR

Like most event weapons that appear in Fortnite, the Suppressed Assault Rifle is classified as ground loot in the Battle Royale modes. That means you can find the AR in any spot where normal weapons spawn or inside of chests. The same rule is applied for the Suppressed SMG, the Shield Bubble, and the Shadow Bomb. All of these can be found fairly easily in any given match.

Some vending machines and NPCs may be carrying the Suppressed AR during the Shadow of Phantasm Week, but those will be few and far between if they carry them at all. Most vending machines will only carry standard weapons from Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3, and the assault rifle pool is already saturated. Your best bet is to hope for a good roll in a chest, and even if the weapon has a low rarity, you can use an Upgrade Bench.

If you find that you enjoy using the weapon again, you can always store one in a tent for a later date. Stored items will remain in tents even after the event ends. But if you die with the weapon in hand, that item is gone for good. It’s best to make the most of the weapons while they are available.
