How to Get Science Points in Graveyard Keeper 2
A man of science and faith.
The Keeper is a man of many hats: Farmer, Trader, Miner, and Graveyard Keeper, of course. But in the midst of all his diligent daily tasks is his role as the Researcher. Mixing Science with Faith, you can learn a thing or two at Graveyard Keeper 2’s Study Table. But first you need some Science Points.

How to make Science in Graveyard Keeper 2
There’s only one way to make Science: with Science Kits. These can be crafted at the Writing Desk underneath your home. Once made, go to the Study Table and decompose to transfer into Science Points. Here are the recipes:

What do you need Science Points for?
Science Points have a single purpose, and that’s to use as currency on the Study Table within the Alchemy Lab. Unlocked upon meeting the Plague Doctor for the first time, the Study Table offers a means to research resources at their molecular level. The goal is to strip the resource down to its Compound, giving you either a Blue, Green, or Pink Rune(s). Whatever you research will remain in your Inventory.
You won’t find a Compound on every resource you study, so be sure to use Science Points on materials that’ll likely have something you need. Using it on wood, metal, glass, etc is a waste. It’s in the rarer, more valuable items where a Compound likely lies. Think organs, powder, mushrooms, the Comet’s Tail. The rarer the resource, the more Faith and Science you’ll spend to study it.
Though you don’t always have to look for new Compounds to be used at the Laboratory to make Potions, you can spend Science Points just to grind for Blue Tech Points. These are the hardest Tech Tree Points to accumulate and are mostly farmed through completing Anatomy and Alchemy tasks (e.g., autopsies, digging graves, cremating bodies). But the Study Table can offer an abundance of Blue Points in exchange for Faith and Science. Though a resource can only be studied once, doing so rewards you with Blue Points to use on the Anatomy and Alchemy Tech Tree and the opportunity to gain another Rune.
Once you know what resource has what Rune, you can use it at the Laboratory to mix with another and experiment with creating Potions.
