Old School RuneScape: Finding the Salve Amulet

The Salve Amulet is a semi-rare piece of jewelry players can wear in-game or sell for gold. How does one acquire this amulet, though?

How to get the Salve Amulet in RuneScape:

  • Complete the Haunted Mine quest.

The recommended combat level for the Haunted Mine quest is 50+. Players must be able to take on and defeat a level 95 enemy, Treus Dayth.

Once you have completed the quest, crawl through the cart tunnel south of the Mine’s eastern entrance. There, you will find the crystals needed to create the Salve Amulet.

To craft the Salve Amulet, a player must have a Crafting level of 35 or more. Make sure you bring a pickaxe with you when completing this quest so you have a way of salvaging the crystals.

What is the Salve Amulet?

The Salve Amulet is a purple jeweled necklace players can wear after acquiring it. The amulet increases a player’s melee attack when fighting undead enemies by 16.67%.

Other bonuses given by wearing the Salve Amulet:

  • +3 defense from stab attacks.
  • +3 defense from slash attacks.
  • +3 defense from smash attacks.
  • +3 in Prayer.

The amulet is not stackable, nor is it tradeable. It also has three separate variants with different bonuses, two of which also increase ranged and magic attacks.
