All Ways to Get Prize Tickets in Stardew Valley

Stardew Valley has no shortage of quests you can accomplish as you farm and romance your way through Pelican City. But if you want to get Prize Tickets for Lewis’ Prize Machine, there are certain quests you should always be picking up.

The best and most reliable way to get tickets for Lewis’ Prize Machine is by accepting and completing quests posted on the Help Wanted board outside of Pierre’s General Shop. While not every quest posted there guarantees a ticket, you’ll be able to see if the quest does have a ticket as a reward when you accept it, as there will be a ticket icon in the bottom left corner.

But that’s not the only option. You can also get prize tickets by winning the Egg Hunt in Spring or the Ice Fishing Contest in Winter. To win the Egg Hunt, you’ll need to find at least 9 eggs and to win. Winning the Ice Fishing Festival boils down to luck and getting the best fish. But you may get trash on all your throws, leaving Willy to take the ice fishing throne.

Once you have a ticket, you can redeem it at the prize box in the Mayor’s Manor just below Pierre’s General Store. Here, you’ll see a conveyor belt of prizes. The first prize is carrot seeds, the second prize is a tree sapling, then mixed seeds, then a mystery box. It’s quite a long list of items, but the prize box is only there as a nice bonus for helping out your community.

While you’re in town, why not visit the traveling bookseller, too?
