No matter your build in Armored Core 6, there will come a time when ammo management becomes a problem. As the levels increase in difficulty and length, you’ll find yourself strapped for resources. Here’s how to get more ammo in Armored Core 6.
Can you Get More Ammo in AC6?
To get more ammo in Armored Core 6, you’ll need to find a resupply drone. These are often found at checkpoints in more extensive levels. Unlike most other games, you won’t find ammo on the ground or from defeated enemies. So, you’ll need to manage your resources properly until you hit the next resupply checkpoint.

If you happen to die in Armored Core 6 and restart from the latest checkpoint (which is different from the resupply checkpoints mentioned above), you’ll start with full health and ammo. So dying isn’t as punishing as many other From Software titles.

I often died on purpose just to get a resupply before a tough fight or a more challenging area. It’s not the ideal method, especially if you’re going for an S rank or other notable feat. However, it’s an easy way for more casual players to get a quick refill on their ammo and repair kits.
So while you won’t get ammo from your more traditional means in Armored Core 6, there are still a couple of ways to get more rockets, bullets, or ammo for whatever crazy weapon you’re using.
It’s important to mix and match your weapon types with those that use different ammo counts. Having a weapon with a ton of ammunition can help mitigate running out of ammo early on in a level or fight.
