When you first learn about Merlin Trials, you’ll get five Mallowsweet Leaves. These allow you a few attempts at the puzzles without immediately having to get more. However, as you do more, this supply will eventually run out, leading to getting some more. More specifically, you’ll have to buy some more.

Mallowsweet Leaves and their seeds are purchasable from The Magic Neep, a shop in Hogsmeade just west of J. Pippins Potions. To reach it, just head toward the potions shop and cross the nearby bridge to arrive right at its doorstep. From here, you’re just one quick chat with Timothy Teasdale, the shop owner, away from getting some Mallowsweet.

At The Magic Neep, you can either buy Mallowsweet Leaves themselves or purchase seeds to plant in your Room of Requirement. The seeds cost a little extra at 200 gold but can be grown indefinitely, providing an unlimited source of leaves. The leaves are slightly less, priced at 100 gold, but are a much faster way to get them.

Fortunately, if you decide to grow your own, you can plant the seeds in your default potting table in your Room of Requirement. You won’t have to go out and grab versions with medium or large pots unless you decide to grow other plants. However, if you have these extra tables and want to get tons of Mallowsweet Leaves, you can plant multiple in each pot and wait for them to grow.

That aside, if you want a bigger pot for these plants just for fun, you can also buy large pots in Hogwarts Legacy. That way, if you ever want to swap it out for a different plant, you’ll already have it placed down!

Hogwarts Legacy will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch through the official website. If you want to learn more about the game, check out our complete Hogwarts Legacy content list by clicking the tag below!
