If you recently added Magby or Magmar to your party in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet: Indigo Disk, you may be eager to evolve it to have a powerful Magmortar in your party. Let’s talk about how to get Magmarizer so you can initiate this evolution.

The Blueberry Academy League Club store sells Magmarizer for 250 BP. By completing Blueberry quests or BBQs, you’ll collect BP, which you can use to purchase Magmarizer alongside items like Electirizer, protector, and EXP candies.

However, since it costs 250 BP, you’ll have to complete several BBQs before you can afford the item. Fortunately, most of these quests are easy to finish, especially in friend groups.

How to Get BP in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet: The Indigo Disk

Buying items in the school store requires spending BP, which you obtain by finishing Blueberry Quests, also known as BBQs. After completing your first Terarium class, you’ll unlock these quests, which you can work on throughout the rest of your playthrough.

One BBQ can give you anywhere between 20 to 600 BP depending on its type and difficulty, so be sure to keep an eye on your list and finish as many as possible to rack up those points.

How to Evolve Magmar Using Magmarizer in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet: The Indigo Disk

Magmarizer is an item you’ll use to evolve your Pokemon, with the most notable example being Magmar’s evolution to Magmortar. To evolve Magmar, find the Pokemon in your party or boxes, get it to hold your Magmarizer, and trade Magmar with another player. Once you finish the trade, Magmar will evolve into Magmortar.

However, Magmar’s evolution occurs after the trade is finished, meaning whoever receives the Pokemon will get Magmortar. The best way to do this is to trade with someone you trust to return the Magmortar afterward or swap with a player with a Magmar.
