How to Get Kecleon in Pokemon GO

Right on the heels of Chespin Community Day, Kecleon is here to steal the spotlight. But you’ll have to put in some legwork if you want to encounter it.

While you’re visiting the Pokestops near you, you might see a notification that says:

“There’s an invisible obstacle in your way. It’s preventing you from collecting items…”

Look closely, and you’ll see the vague, almost ghostly outline of something. This creature is what’s stopping you from spinning the Pokestop! Try to spin it anyway, and you’ll get a surprise: Kecleon will leap forward, revealing itself.

And you’re not the only person who can discover the Color Swap Pokemon at this Pokestop. Once you find it, tell your friends so they can try to catch Kecleon, too, as it will be available to everyone in the area. But that doesn’t mean it will be common, far from it.

Kecleon is a rare spawn and might take you between 15 and 20 Pokestops to find. If you’re still not having luck after spinning that many, check to make sure your Rocket Radar is off. Rocket Leader and Giovanni encounters take precedence over Kecleon spawning, so this might be your problem.

Here are the moves and stats you can expect to see from Kecleon.
