The JAK Burnout Kit is a new Aftermarket Part that was added to Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 during the Season 2 Reloaded mid-season update. It can drastically change how the Holger 26 light machine gun works, so here is how to get the JAK Burnout Kit in MW3.
How to Unlock JAK Burnout Kit in MW3
The JAK Burnout Kit Aftermarket Part can be unlocked by getting five Operator or Special Zombie Kills with Throwing Knives. This challenge is only available during Season 2, but the attachment can still be unlocked after the season is over through the Armory.
The conversion kit challenge can be located in the Season 2 Battle Pass under Sector B21, but players do not need to purchase the Battle Pass to access it. The challenge is also one part required to unlock the Soulrender melee weapon.
The challenge can be done in MW3 multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone modes. In Warzone, down an enemy with regular weapons followed by a Throwing Knife up close to finish them off. The same can be done in Zombies, but only works on Disciple, Mangler, and Mimic enemies. Competitive multiplayer can be a challenge, but the War Mode playlist is perfect for tight-kit maps and easily sneaking around the other team.
How to Equip JAK Burnout Kit in MW3
The JAK Burnout Kit can be equipped for the Holger 26 LMG. The Aftermarket Part is not available for any other weapon in the game. The Holger 26 can be unlocked after gaining access to the Armory after level 25.
The attachment can be found under the Conversion Kit option in the Holger 26 Gunsmith. Equipping it will take up one attachment slot and disable additional Barrel and Muzzle attachments on the weapons.
